How awesome was it to turn on the television this morning and find the Dodgers on. Truthfully, I was just surfing backwards through channels to get to the Pens-Caps game and stumbled on it, but there's something very nice about hearing Vin Scully for the first time this year.
Note to the Hawks, Phoenix probably won't keep losing forever. Today's the day. That is all.
Still haven't started on the project that my brother pitched - it's a wee bit intimidating working with someone else's idea. Intend to do that later today - maybe once I've had a shower & some breakfast.
If anybody's looking for some inspiration or a challenge, check out the prompts at
lgbtfest. There are a lot of fandoms represented and even some general prompts that work for any fandom.
I had the most bizarre dream involving Aidan Gillen or Stuart Allen Jones (points to icon). We were in some kind of business relationship to start out and then well... the alarm went off.
This is the first year in ages that I managed to turn all my clocks forward and not was caught unaware by the whole Daylight savings time thing (although I think that LJ still is). I think it's getting silly since the window for Standard time keeps getting shorter and shorter. Wouldn't the fact that Daylight savings time lasts for more than have the year, technically, by definition, make it "standard" time?
