I'll begin this with a statement that lets you know where I'm going -

Generally I'm against censorship of any sorts, but this seems very, very wrong on many levels.

The Special Interest Groups know that there's no better way to get attention to their causes than protesting films for offensive content.

True. And I also think this particular film company is using the controversy to attract attention (as in the case of "Captivity").

Maybe the whole subject matter just hit a really big nerve as far as I'm concerned.
